Tell us more about your future of ageing. What's it like?
Imagine you are 72, 80 or even 99 years old: How and with whom do you live together?
With my life partner in community with our other partners and friends. The place is urban and we can live out our Gilmore Girls, dress up for sitting in fancy cafes, sipping sherries and watching people, but at the same time we’ll have found calmness and recharging spaces in nature where we still grow things in the garden, bake bread, ferment and are close to self sufficiency. We get visitors coming by often.
Who are the most important people in your life and how do you spend time with them?
My partners and the community we live in. We raised children together that are also part of the deal. Together we play card games, dress up to see the freakiest new theatre pieces, sit in Vogue cafes, live the good life but also grow veggies, ferment, forage, bake bread, have regular parties, dance and yoga every day. Community is important to us and so is to stay healthy in body and mind.
What is your sex and love life like in the future?
My life partner and me have been together forever but next to us we have other valuable connections and relationships.
Thinking into the future: How do you manage to stay mentally and physically fit?
A mix of nature, yoga, dance and meditation combined with keeping up the things I do now that I am still younger; dressing up, feeling fancy, being part of the cultural life (concerts, theatre, performances etc) and a rave once in a while
How do you afford everyday life in the future?
I live in a community where we care for each other – we are mostly self sufficient so we can live by our little pension (Rente). But we also sell food that we grow, ferment, give workshops and once in a while still perform with our choir :)
Thinking of your future older self: What do you get up for in the morning?
For seeing the sunrise, the calm and relaxing morning hours, the community, the wonders of nature, laughter and the belief in the good things of life. You decide who you wanna be.

You're looking back at your fulfilled life and a much younger friend of yours asks about your secret of happiness and fullfillment. What do you tell them? What would you recommend to them?
I kept doing things that did me well in different ages – never stop believing in you being able to do anything!
